EARL OF EAST X ARC SAUNA | GUIDED SAUNA SESSIONS
Sauna, Scent & Sensory Rituals
We partnered with Arc Sauna for a series of guided sauna sessions using our scents to shape the atmosphere through heat, steam and sensory ritual. Inspired by sauna culture and recovery practices, this journal explores how scent can help transform everyday routines into moments of pause, restoration and reset.
From grounding woody notes to awakening eucalyptus blends, discover how functional fragrance can be used through heat, steam and recovery rituals to shape mood, atmosphere and sensory experience.
Step 1: Set The Atmosphere
The ritual begins before the heat.
Light incense or add essential oils to your space to create a calming environment before stepping into the shower or bath. Warm steam helps diffuse scent more intensely through the room, making fragrance feel softer, fuller and more immersive.
For grounding rituals, woody notes like cedarwood and oakmoss help create a slower, calmer atmosphere.
Inspired by the Japanese ritual of forest bathing, the Shinrin-Yoku collection blends cedarwood, oakmoss and black pepper to recreate the feeling of walking through a forest after rain.

For more energising rituals, fresh notes like eucalyptus, peppermint and mandarin help create a clearer, more awakening atmosphere.

Step 3: Reset & Recover
The final part of the ritual is recovery.
After heat exposure, support the body with cooling, soothing products designed to hydrate skin and ease tired muscles.
Apply All Over Oil post-shower to lock in moisture, then finish with Minera Magnesium Spray as part of your evening wind-down or post-workout recovery routine.
Together, they help extend the feeling of restoration long after the ritual ends.
